Serrahn- On August 24, 2025, the Van der Valk Golf Hotel Serrahn, together with the golf club of the same name at Serrahner Lake, is inviting guests to a free golfing experience day.

As part of an open house day, families, beginners, and the curious are warmly invited to try out the big sport with the small white ball from 11:00 am without obligation.

The equipment is provided by the golf club. You only need to bring comfortable clothing and, of course, a good mood.

No matter if children or adults – everyone experiences the fascination of golf up close with a guaranteed fun factor: On a practice area known as the "Driving Range," the golf explorers receive professional tips and try out the various game situations in golf together.

The little ones can look forward to a bouncy castle and other play opportunities.

At the same time, the company Wilson invites you to the club fitting and demo day.During fitting, your height and other static values, as well as various swing characteristics, are taken into account. The result: precisely tailored golf clubs.

Since sports are known to make you hungry, everything is well taken care of for your physical well-being. On-site, guests can expect refreshing drinks, grilled delicacies, and homemade cake.

Participation in the Golf Experience Day is completely free! No registration required – just come by and have fun.

Small insider tip: Anyone who cannot participate in the golf experience day but is still curious about golf is welcome to book a trial course.

Serrahn- As part of the Golfamore Awards 2024, the Van der Valk Golf Club Serrahn was recognized for its exceptional gastronomy. In the "Best Restaurant" category, the "Martinus" restaurant placed in the adjacent Van der Valk Golf Hotel Serrahn the excellent 3rd place in Germany – a culinary seal of quality awarded based on over 150,000 reviews by Golfamore users. The award was ceremoniously presented to Operations Manager Andreas Borstel, who accepted it on behalf of the golf hotel team.
